Nur durch strenge Spezialisierung kann der wissenschaftliche Arbeiter tatsächlich das Vollgefühl, einmal und vielleicht nie wieder im Leben, sich zu eigen machen: hier habe ich etwas geleistet, was dauern wird.

I guess these FAQs would help you figure out a profile of me~ :>
Q1: Why did you start this site?
A1: I don’t know, literally. Most of those blogger I know do this for either documenting or displaying, but neither of them suits me. Thus, I gotta admit that I just don’t actually know why I’ve started this site. :L
Q2: What would you update on this site?
A2: I don’t know, literally, again. I usually just update posts when I feel like doing so, such as, “oooooh I guess this topic would be fun, so I’d check with ChatGPT(or whatever LLM) and draft up a post about it, then upload it!” And since so, the current process has actually nothing to do with my research/major, but it would be possible later on(if I’ve really come up with something worthy). ;)
Q3: What’s the real purpose behind this site, if you’re not sure why you started it and what to post?
A3: Nothing. Literally, nothing. There’s no real purpose, just void, like my life purpose. But hey, isn’t that how life works? :|
It’s somewhat pitiful for me that I didn’t yet got myself any publication, but I did spend pretty time on my research, and I hope that I could bring you some interesting problems and solutions soon.
As for my research interest, I’m currently working in the subfield of LLM Safety & Security, focusing on SoadNLP ( security - oriented adversarial NLP, according to this paper). Later on I’m planning to apply for a PhD after graduation. I’m quite sure that it would be hard, but I’m really into my work, and before realization, I found myself gradually growing into a indeed researcher.
Some may argue that it would be a little bit too early for a undergrad year 1 student to propose and work on a real research project, but sometimes things just work themselvesout, and at least I can always think myself to be a qualified researcher, and despite my figuring things out still, the journey’s fun as well.
I spent my high school years at Tongren No. 1 High School of Guizhou, where I first built the foundation for my passion for scientific research.
During high school, I got involved in a biology experiment interest group and a Physics Olympiad seminar. These activities sparked my interest in science and technology, which eventually led me to choose research as my future career path. Interestingly, I also discovered a strong interest for language and literature, despite my focus on STEM. On top of that, high school was a time of psychological and social challenges for me indeed, but I received an overwhelming amount of support from those around me. Therefore, I’d like to take this moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to a few key people:
Mr. Chen (co-first author of this paper) and Ms. Yang for their mentorship in the biology experiment interest group
Mr. Chen and Mr. Liu for guiding me in the Physics Olympiad seminar
Ms. Wang (my Chinese teacher) and Ms. Zhang (my English teacher) for nurturing my interest in language and literature.
Ms. Yang (my class mentor and Chinese teacher) for providing unwavering support and encouragement throughout my senior year.
Good news! I’ve finally drafted some of my posts! (And I’ll continue to upload more)
